This is a lovely classic hotel on the beach at Waikiki. I had breakfast at the buffet at Duke’s and it was great! Lovely view of Diamond Head, as well as the vow renewal that happens there (free for guests). I’ve done the vow renewal at Outrigger before. It’s very well done and not at all cheesy as I had feared, but as meaningful as you would want.
One of my main purposes in visiting this time was to take a look at the ADA rooms. They have the roll in shower types in the City View category and those with a low tub edge and lots of grab bars in the Partial Ocean View.
Be aware that they will be working on renovations from March until the end of June. I did get to see a model room. I’m very pleased with the updating changes they will be making. Outrigger is a class act and renovations continue to echo that.
